SmaRT 2, 4, 6 Button
SmaRT wireless handhelds are available in 2, 4, or 6 button models and are designed to meet the environmental and durability requirements of your application. These systems utilize 900MHz or 2,4GHz direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) transceiver RF communication standard, allowing for feedback via three tri-colored LEDs on each hadheld or LCD display options.
The SmaRT handhelds have been designed to be fully programmable with the base unit taking on the characteristics of a mini PLC in order to serve the growing complexity of applications while providing sensitivity to cost chaleenges. Base unit input/output logic is programmable with latching, momentary, timed, sequenced, CAN and PWM features. Additionally base units can use their I/O capability and transceiving RF protocol to perform as standalone contact/sensor monitors.
Handheld control can be programmed as PTO, DO or OOfor push button units.
PTO - Push to Operate where the handheld transmits RF signal only when a function button is pressed
DO - Dedicated ON/OFF button where the handheld must be turned on by the ON/OFF button prior to any function buttons allowing output activation. Typically, a programmable inactivity timer is enabled to conserve battery life while in this mode.
OO - Dedicated ON and Dedicated OFF button where the handheld utilizes independent ON and OFF buttons and the handheld must be turned ON prior to any function buttons allowing output activation. Typically, a programmable inactivity timer is enabled to conserve battery life while in this made.
“S” Feature - A Shift feature is available in 4 & 6 button handhelds, allowing for the programming of a secondary option for a function button by utilizing the “S” button.
The SmaRT 2, 4, and 6 buttton are compatible with either the SmaRT Solid State or Relay Contact Base Units.
